TYDA into 15th Loktak trophy final

IMPHAL, Apr 4 : TYDA, Toubul reached the final of the 15th Loktak Trophy, an U-17 Boys Football Tournament, by beating RFCC, Keinou today at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School playground.
TYDA defeated RFCC by 2-1 goals in the keenly contested final clash to seal their place in the final of the 6-team tournament organised by AMOFA Moirang under the sponsorship of NHPC Ltd, Loktak Power Station.
The two sides started cautiously and went into the break  goalless before S Yohenba found the breakthrough and put TYDA ahead after 49 minutes.
Neema Tamang further extended the lead to 2-0 before N Mangal pulled back a goal for RFCC deep five minutes into the stoppage time.
