Manipur reign supreme at 15th Junior, Masters and Divyang Bodybuilding Championships

IMPHAL, Apr 1 : Manipur emerge team champions at the 15th Junior, Masters and Divyang Bodybuilding Championships which was held from March 29 to 30 at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
Manipur won as many as 4 gold and 1 silver medals to finish on top as three athletes settled for fourth places.
Winning gold medals for Manipur include Dhanraj Gupta of X-Tream Fitness, Mantripukhri (70 Kg), Khumbongmayum Jackson of World Gym, Yaiskul (75 kg), Hawaibam Ricky of Royal Gym Ningomthong (75 kg and above) and K Arnold of MPSC (40-50 years) while Yumnam Thomas of City Gym, Uripok bagged the silver medal (75 kg).
S Rohit of Hercules Gym, Yairipok (60 kg), Leimajam Nongthang of Royal Gym, Ningomthong (75 kg and above) and Leishangthem Kumarjit of MPSC (50-60 kg) were athletes who secured fourth places in their respective categories.
The team were led by N Ratan as manager and Y Nilbir as coach, said All Manipur Body Builders Association in a press release.
