YWC beat YCC by 46 runs in Mema Memorial Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament

IMPHAL, Mar 22 : YWC, Langthabal defeated YCC, Wangkhei by 46 runs in a league stage encounter of the ongoing 2nd Khomdram Ongbi Hijam Mema Devi Memorial Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.
YWC, after electing to bat first, added 164 runs for 8 wickets thanks to Prakashmani's 42-ball 58 and Dinachandra's 27-ball 47 and restricted YCC to 118/9 in response to seal the comfortable win.
G Sanjit 3/26, L Sanjit 2/20 and Everest 2/35 were among the wickets for YCC before Sanjit 37 off 23, Pritam 25 off 33 and Winkan 24 off 40 led the scoring for YCC in the chase. Dinachandra 2/21 and Rajeshkumar 2/36 shared four wickets for YWC as three others picked a wicket apiece.
Prakashmani who struck a half century and picked a wicket was adjudged man of the match.
Earlier in the day, KCC, Kongba beat LCCC, Lilong Chajing by 21 runs.
Tomba 31 off 29, Sanjoy 29 not out off 16 balls, Robertson 27 off 16 steered toss winners KCC to 161/7 in the first innings before restricting LCCC to 140/8 in response despite Satrajit's 44-ball 51 and Shahjahan's 28-ball 33.
Jackson (3/23), Shibadatta (1/26), Amarjit (1/21), Srinivas (1/12) and Regen (1/40) were among the wickets for LCCC as Devan (2/23), Bonny (2/41) and Sanjit (2/25) shared 6 wickets for KCC.
