RAU, FCR set up summit clash in Major L Jyotin Memorial Football

IMPHAL, Mar 20: RAU and FCR have set up a summit clash for the title of the 1st Major Laishram Jyotin Singh Ashok Chakra (Posthumous) Memorial Invitation Football Tournament 2025-26.
The summit clash was confirmed after RAU and FCR beat WAFA and SSU respectively in the semifinals today.
RAU Lairikyengbam Leikai beat WAFA Wangoi 2-0.
FCR beat SSU 1-0.
In the first semifinal match, Laishram Bikramjit scored the only and winning goal for FCR early in the 9th minute.
Despite their best efforts, SSU couldn't find an equalizer.
In the second semifinal match, Ng Jiten emerged the star for RAU as he scored a winning double in the 2nd and 75th minute.
The tournament is being organised by Spear Corps & District Football Association (DFA) Moirang at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School Ground.
