SNC Sangaiprou beat ESU Wangkhei on opening day of T20 Veteran Cricket

IMPHAL, Mar 13: SNC Sangaiprou beat ESU Wangkhei by 5 wickets in the opening match of the 2nd Khomdram (O) Hijam Mema Devi Memorial T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2025 at Langthabal Public Ground, Imphal West today.
The tournament is being organised by the Manipur Veteran Cricket Association.
ESU Wangkhei won the toss and elected to bat first to amass 148 for 6 wickets in 20 overs.
Completing the chase, SNC knocked a winning 149 runs for 5 wickets in 19.3 overs.
In ESU's knock of 148 runs, Shantikumar (18 runs off 19 balls), Helendro (6 runs off 10 balls), Robin (17 runs off 15 balls), Swami (12 runs off 19 balls), Rajesh Khangembam (35 runs off 24 balls), N Banikanta (25 runs off 20 balls) and N Vedeshor (12 runs off 10 balls) contributed runs.
SNC's Ng Rajesh and M Ranendrajit took 2 wickets each. Romeshchandra and W Rajen took one wicket each.
In SNC's winning knock of 149 runs in 19.3 overs, Thawai Chingtham (6 runs off 17 balls), W rajen (13 runs off 16 balls), Ronelkumar (31 runs off 22 balls), Romio (24 runs off 26 balls), Ng Rajesh (7 runs off 10 balls), M Ranendrajit (12 runs off 12 balls) and Romeshchandra (26 runs off 16 balls) contributed runs.
ESU's Shantikumar, Banikanta, Pari and Robin took one wicket each.
