NPP opts to remain neutral

IMPHAL, Feb 7 : The National People's Party (NPP) has decided to remain neutral if a no-confidence motion is brought against the Biren Singh led Government when the Assembly session starts on February 10.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, a well placed source said that a closed door meeting of NPP was convened at the residence of party's State unit interim president Y Joykumar  at Naoremthong and discussed the political situation in Manipur.
The meeting was attended by all the six NPP MLAs.
Notably, Tadubi AC MLA N Kayisii who also won the 2022 Assembly election on NPP ticket passed away recently.
