CNPO calls bandh

IMPHAL, Feb 4 : The Chandel Naga People’s Organisation (CNPO), has called a 12-hour shutdown (6 am to 6 pm) in Chandel and Tengnoupal districts on February 12 against the fencing of Indo-Myanmar border and scrapping of FMR.
In a statement, CNPO said that they will also organise a mass public rally during the shutdown period.
Whereas the rally will be held at Chandel District Headquarters, the total shutdown will cover the whole Naga areas of Chandel and Tengnoupal, CNPO said and appealed to the Naga people to cooperate.
