IMPHAL, Feb 3 : The Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA) Kangleipak and its armed wing PRA has paid deepest respect to PLA’s 2nd Lt Salam Nganba alias Henthoiba Meitei of Komnao Makha Leikai, Koireng-led UNLF/MPA’s Captain Chirom Chiromcha alias Robindro of Mayang Imphal Thana Awang Leikai and KYKL’s Private Moirangthem Susil alias Athouba of Sugnu Awang Leikai who were killed in a series of battles fought against a combined force of Indian military forces and KNA-B at Kangleipak (Manipur)-Myanmar border since January 27, 2025.
Apart from mourning the demise of the three revolutionary fighters, SOREPA has also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
Creating distrust, animosity and igniting violent clashes among different communities so as to draw a permanent line of division is one diabolic strategy of the Government of India, the outfit alleged in a press release issued by its Secretary, Publicity and Organisation MC Yaiphabi.
The recent battles were a major offensive launched by India in collusion with KNA-B with the primary objective of annihilating the liberation movement of Manipur, it said.
Nonetheless, revolutionary organisations of Manipur faced the offensive boldly and fought against the combined force of Indian military forces and KNA-B for several days and inflicted huge casualties to the combined force, it said.
“SOREPA mourns and pays revolutionary salute to the three revolutionary fighters who achieved martyrdom in these fierce battles”, it added.
