U-15 Women's One Day Trophy THAU, AKSDO post comprehensive wins

IMPHAL, Feb 3 : THAU, Thangmeiband and AKSDO, Khangabok sealed emphatic victories in today's matches of the ongoing 2nd MNCA U-15 Women's One Day Trophy.
At THAU ground in Thangmeiband, THAU bowled out toss winners YPHUC, Lalambung for just 13 runs in 16.4 overs before finishing the chase in just 1.4 overs by adding 17 runs without any loss.
With the 10-wicket win, THAU climbed atop the league table with 8 points.
Thoithoibi Ahongshangbam (4/1) and Konjengbam Nonibala (3/7) led the demolition work of YPHUC today before U Robeni 5 not out and Creety Moirangthem 9 not out finished off the chase for THAU.
Notably, 8 batters of YPHUC were dismissed on ducks as I Japani and L Terina scored 1 run each.
Meanwhile at PCC ground, Mayaikoibi, AKSDO added 325/6 in 30 overs after being asked to bat first and bowled out PTRC for 110 runs in 19 overs to seal the huge 215-run victory.
Langlen Ningthoujam scored a mesmerizing 163 off 77 balls (25 fours and 8 sixes) to lead AKSDO to the huge total in a innings that saw Laitonjam Purnima (3/64) and L Bigyapati Devi (2/59) of PTRC sharing five wickets.
Chasing for the big total, PTRC had a stuttering start before getting dismissed for 110 runs by hardworking AKSDO bowlers. L Purnima 19, L Bigyapati 23 and L Benita 21 were the double digit run getters for PTRC in the innings.
For AKSDO, Kh Rabina (2/19) and Kh Lucyrani (2/9) managed two wickets apiece while three others picked a wicket apiece.
