2nd MNCA U-15 Women's One Day Trophy PCC roll on with third win, beat Al-Ameen by 16 runs

IMPHAL, Jan 31 : PCC, Mayaikoibi completed perfect three wins in the 2nd MNCA U-15 Women's One Day Trophy as they beat Al-Ameen, Lilong by 16 runs at THAU ground, Thangmeiband today.
Al-Ameen opted to field first after winning the toss and saw PCC gather 99 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 15 overs.
They however fumbled in the chase and could add up only 83 runs for 8 wickets to suffer the 16-run loss.
Keithellakpam Katrina 30 off 25 balls and Nongthombam Langlenthoibi Chanu 27 not out off 21 balls were the main run getters for PCC in the first innings that saw Najiya Begum (3/24) and Laishram Langlenthoibi (2/21) sharing 5 wickets for Al-Ameen.
In the chase, Najiya Begum topscored with 23 runs off 31 balls but her efforts went in vain as PCC bowlers proved more economical and effective.
Ningthoisana Thoudam returned with the best bowling figures of 3/22 in 3 overs for PCC while Laishram Anjali finished with 2/16 in 3 overs. Hemam Lingjen and K Katrina also chipped in with a wicket apiece for PCC in the second innings.
Ningthoisana Thoudam who starred with the ball was adjudged player of the match.
