State Armwrestling C'ship from January 22

IMPHAL, Jan 7 : The Manipur Armwrestling Association is set to host the 39th edition of State Armwrestling Championship 2025 from January 22 to 25 at UYO community hall, Bheigyabati Leikai.
Arm-wrestlers who competed in the district level championships are eligible to take part in the ensuing championship, said the Manipur Armwrestling Association in a press release.
Meritorious athletes will be selected to represent Manipur at the National Championship due to be hosted by Uttarakhand, it said while informing intending armwrestlers to contact their respective district associations.
The weigh-in for participating athletes will begin at 7 am on January 22 at the championship venue, it added.
