Loktak Khorjei Lup celebrates foundation day

BISHNUPUR, Jan 3: The 10th Foundation Day of Loktak Khorjei Lup, Manipur was observed today at Loktak Lake Front Hall, Sendra.
The event was attended by Loktak Development Authority, chairman, M Asnikumar  as chief guest, Loktak Khorjei Lup, president, Birbabu Laishram as functionary president and DM University, School of Humanities Dean Professor, S Lanchenba as guest of honour along with various eminent personalities.
As part of the program, the 9th edition of yearly journal "Loktakhol" was released and feted four artists.
The 4th Loktak Lairembi Khorilol Award, 2025 was conferred to Beril Thanga, 4th Tongbram Ongbi Manitombi Ningsing (Sahitya) Award, 2025 to Doneshwar Konsam, 4th Heisnam Mangoljao Ningsing Kanglei Esei Award, 2025 to Thokchom Buddha while Mangka Mayanglangbam was conferred with 4th Khwairakpam Bhogho Ningsing Khunung Esei Award, 2025
The recipients were given cash and citations.
