U-14 Cricket : LOTUS, YUCC, YPHUC and YESSDAN register wins

IMPHAL, Jan 30: LOTUS Hiyanglam, YUCC Kwakeithel Moirangpurel, YPHUC Lalambung Makhong and YESSDAN Ningthoukhong emerged victorious today's league matches of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament.
LOTUS vs CHAMP
LOTUS Hiyanglam beat CHAMP Cricket Club Khagempalli by 305 runs
LOTUS faced the ball first to score a massive 354  runs for zero wickets lost in 30 overs.
CHAMP Cricket Club could score only 49 runs for 10 wickets in 12.2 overs.
At Khudeiband Lampak Taothong, Taiyenjam Sachin Singh knocked 138 runs off 114 balls and Thongam Kingson Singh scored 111 runs off 103 balls for LOTUS.
For CHAMP, Ksh Jidan Singh scored 4 runs off 3 balls---the most individual runs for the team.
LOTUS' Elangbam Yohenba and Mayengbam Tomthin took 2 wickets each. Mayengbam Yohenba Meitei, Huidrom Jenish and Korounganba Lourembam took 1 wicket each.
YUCC vs KCC
At SEDCO Ground Kongba, YUCC Kwakeithel Moirangpurel beat KCC Kongba Bazar by 80 runs.
YUCC opted to bat first and amassed 225 runs for 10 wickets in 29.1 overs.
KCC Kongba Bazar lost all wickets and managed to score only 145 runs in 21.5 overs.
Rajbir Khumanthem knocked a massive 124 runs off 73 balls for YUCC.
Shresth Oinam (25/28), Shaan Soraisham (8/26), Mayangmayum Mohd Alfash (4/6), Salam Trivankar (6/16) and Bidyananda Ayekpam (5/15) contributed runs to YUCC's total of 225.
KCC's Niyash Khan took 3 wickets. Abdul Asif and Md Rahish Khan took 2 wickets each. Gefferson took 1 wicket.
In KCC's turn batting, Niyash Khan knocked a massive 67 runs off 51 balls, but his team-mates couldn't keep up the pace to reach the target.
KCC lost all wickets in 21.5 overs and could score only 145 runs. Md Rahish Khan (7/10), Gefferson (4/19), Abdul Asif (12/17), Thoungamba Ksh (9/8), Mahd Ujer (8/11), Thokchom Henthoiba (1/8), Bookesh (2/5) and Kangjam Lamnganba (2/3) contributed runs.
YUCC's Rajbir Khumanthem took 4 wickets. Jaheer and Salam Trivankar took 2 wickets each. Shresth Oinam took 1 wicket.
YPHUC vs BKCC
At PTRC Ground Patsoi-IV, BKCC Bamon Kampu bat first to score 169 for 7 wickets in 30 overs.
YPHUC Lalambung Makhong scored 170 for 5 wickets in 24.3 overs to win the match.
Prince Thokcom (19/35), Thiyam Prabinson (16/31), Mangangchaoba Irengbam (18/23), Nepoleon Kongkham (19/49), Jbrunce Hirom (29/34) and Thounaojam Tondonba (15/9) contributed runs to BKCC's 169 runs.
YPHUC's Khundom Puhenba took 3 wickets and Konsam Mangal Singh took 2 wickets. Jangammei Maring-mei and Yaioiba Ningombam took 1 wicket each.
In YPHUC's chase for the target, Loktongbam Tomthilnganba knocked 54 runs off 70 balls.
Yaioiba Ningombam (22/11), Purujit Mutum (24/31), Jangammei Maringmei (7/20), Konsam Mangal (1/8), Pukhrambam Poireingamba (2/6) and Khundom Puhenba (1/1) contributed runs to YPHUC's win.
YESSDAN vs SSC
At Lairenjam Public Ground, YESSDAN Ningthoukhong beat SSC Porompat by a narrow 8 runs.
YESSDAN faced the ball first and scored 146 runs for 10 wickets in 24.1 overs.
SCC Porompat fell short of the target and scored only 138 runs for 10 wickets in 26.1 overs.
Oinam Batista Singh (34/28), Priestraj Konthoujam (23/25), Maisnam Anderson (13/40), Manao Salam (5/7), Pukhrambam Sagar (5/26), Heisnam Nganba (1/3), Laishram Giri (3/8), Oinam Aditya (2/8) scored runs for YESSDAN.
SSC's Aribam Farhad Suhail and Md Anash took 2 wickets each. Mausher, Altamsh Sheik, Sofiyan and Ajman took 1 wicket each.
For SCC, only Md Sahifa (19/17), Ahad (13/28) and  Mausher (10/11) scored two digit runs.
