CS visits Kangpokpi

IMPHAL, Jan 30: Chief Secretary Prashant Kumar Singh today visited Kangpokpi and held a meeting with CSOs, DLOs, medical staff and education officials, among others.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Secretary emphasized the importance of working together step by step and cooperating with each other.
He also took suggestions from CSOs on feasible solutions to the problems faced by the people and said that the Government is committed on resolving these issues.
The meeting served as a platform for open communication and collaboration between the Government and various organizations, according to a press release issued by DIO, Kangpokpi.
The Chief Secretary was accompanied by DGP Rajiv Singh and Commissioner (Home) N Ashok Kumar.
Later in the evening, Kangpokpi DC Mahesh Chaudhari, accompanied by SP Kangpokpi, Manoj Prabhakar and SDOs of Kangpokpi district paid a visit to the pre-fabricated houses in Ngahmun village, Champhai sub-division.
The DC not only took stock of the living conditions of the inmates but also distributed essential items to them.
