A memorable day for Ima Chenghi

iv) It acts as a conditioner which makes hair soft.
v) Since it keeps our head cool, it prevents dizziness or vertigo.
Among these aforementioned benefits, the most important benefit of using Chenghi is that it prevents our face from freckles, pigmentation and melisma. Regarding this particular benefit, in one of the radio interviews, film personality, late Abok Pishak also mentioned these benefits. No grey hair was seen on her head even at her ripe age.
A lot of differences can be easily seen in those persons who regularly use Chenghi and non-Chenghi users. Early greying of hair is seen in those who do not use Chenghi.
PROBLEM OF CHENGHI IN OLDEN DAYS
Really, the proportion of the ingredients that we put was not upto the good standard. Whatever found were plucked and put in the earthen pots, were boiled and kept uncared. If not regularly checked, rotten and unpleasant smell came out. Grandmothers, during those days, had a habit of searching those ingredients from nook and corner of the village. The normal shelf life of the earlier Chenghi was only 5 to 6 days while the shelf life of packed Ima Chenghi is 70 days.
HOW I MET READY MADE IMA CHENGHI
As I am also a regular user, I have been facing many problems in searching ingredients. Sometimes, I thought how happy I would be if time tested “Chenghi” is available as a ready made one. Then as per my wish and by blessing of the Almighty, I happened to come across these Ima Chenghi bottles available at some shops. I just checked the details from the printed paper pasted on the bottles. I was so fortunate to meet the founder one day luckily during Sangai Festival. I met Pabung Birendra at his stall and we two interacted a lot about my interest in using Chenghi and others. From then, I started purchasing these bottles regularly. I also presented these bottles to some of my colleagues who regularly use Chenghi by preparing themselves at their homes. They too, give positive feedings on using this Ima Chenghi. As Ima Chenghi was lab tested for 39 parameters through ICAR at a National Lab. Testing Centre and found permissible to use by mankind (as per statement of the founder in many media interviews), we can comfortably use this local readymade Ima Chenghi and stop using chemical based imported shampoo which sooner or later give adverse impact to hair.
It is worthwhile to mention that if S Birendra did not produce Ima Chenghi after his retirement, the younger generation may forget and will not be able to know what Chenghi is.
