TBL, BPR Jan 29: A Special Gram Sabha of Kangyambem Gram Panchayat under Wangjing Tentha CD Block, Thoubal district was convened today at Salungpham Kangyambem Mayai Leikai Community Hall.
The Special Gram Sabha Meeting held in connection with "People's Plan Campaign 2025-26" was attended by 5-Charangpat Zilla Parishad, member, Sh Japan Singh, Kangyambem Gram Panchayat Administrative Committee, chairperson, W Chaoyaima Singh, Kangyambem GP Panchayat Secretary, W Pakasana, ADEO Borbara along with members of Kangyembam GP ward no 10.
Representatives from various departments like Health, Fishery, Veterinary, Education, Agriculture, PHED, Horticulture, Electricity, etc were also present and spoke on the schemes and benefits launched by the departments for the welfare of the people.
Meanwhile Wangoo Terakhong Gram Panchayat also convened a special Gram Sabha at Leisemba Shanglen in Wangoo Sabal to discuss the welfare activities to be taken up by the GP.
The Gram Sabha was attended by 119 members of 15 Self Help Groups of Wangoo Terakhong promoted by the Department of MSRLM, RD & PR, Government of Manipur.
A proposed plan for the year 2025-26 was also presented to the Administrative Elected Body by the VLF.
Pangantabi Gram Panchayat of Langmeidong CD Block also held a special Gram Sabha today at Tangjeng Khunou Community Hall.
The special Gram Sabha held as part of People's Plan Campaign, 2025-26 discussed finalization of Gram Panchayat developmental plans for fiscal year 2025-26 and preparation of probable beneficiary list for AWASS plus, 2024 survey and other issues.
The Gram Sabha was also witnessed participation of Pangantabi GP Administrative Committee, chairman, Ningthoujam Indibala, Up-pradhan, Panchayat Secretary, GRS and representatives from various departments like, Fishery, Horticulture, Social Welfare, Veterinary, PWD, ICDS, MSPDCL, etc.
