Noted film star Diya no more

IMPHAL, Jan 29 : The All Manipur Film Producer Association (AMFPA) and Cine Artistes and Technicians Association (CATA), Manipur have extended heartfelt condolences upon the passing of renowned Manipuri film actor and director Diya Khwairakpam.
According to a press release issued by Joychand Moirangthem, secretary, AMFPA, members of the Association gathered at the residence of Somen Moirangcha, president, AMFPA at Heirangoithong Keibung Oinam Leikai and observed a two-minute silence for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Mourning Diya Khwairakpam's demise, CATA members also observed a 2-minute silence today at the residence of CATA president RK Jnanranjan during an emergency meeting.
They have conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family.
