14-member State team head to Kolkata for All India Kickboxing Federation Cup

IMPHAL, Jan 29 : A 14-member team of Kickboxing Association of Manipur has left Manipur today for the All India Kickboxing Federation Cup beginning today at Kolkata's Khudiram Anushilan Kendra Indoor Stadium.
The athletes who will be representing Manipur at the 3-day event include- Ningthoujam Jagatnganba (30 kg), Takhelchangbam Debaraj (39 kg), Delvin Thongam (42 kg) and Akham Tevin (48 kg) in the cadet boys point fighting; Achanba Chingakham (56 kg) for junior boys full contact and CWF  and Labuktongbam Tokendro Sharma (70 kg) for junior boys' low kick; Ninthoujam Rousseau (65 kg) senior men's point fight and Wangkheimayum Sanatomba (80 kg) senior men's kick light; Maisnam Renee (48 kg) in junior men's full contact; Sarungbam Julia (65 kg) senior men's LK and CWF and Khundrakpam Sanathoi (56 kg) junior men's full contact event.
The team are managed by S Umakanta and led by coaches- K Babu (for boys) and K Padameshwor Sharma (for girls).
The championship being held at  in Kolkata, West Bengal will conclude on January 31.
