DMTSU, IPS probationers call on Guv

IMPHAL, Jan 28 : Members of Dhanamanjuri University Tribal Students’ Union called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan in Imphal today and submitted a memorandum.
The memorandum highlighted the status of ST (Scheduled Tribes) scholarship for tribal students, said a press release issued by the Governor's Secretariat.
It further requested  Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla  for early disbursement of pending ST scholarships.
In response, the Governor assured to look into the issue in the interest of the students.
Additionally, five IPS probationers, namely, Diksha Langthasa, Divya, Jay Barange, Chaitanya and Kunal Uttam Shrote paid a courtesy call to the Governor at Raj Bhavan today.
