CM distributes commendation certificates

IMPHAL, Jan 28: Chief Minister N Biren Singh distributed CM's Certificates of Commendation to Government officials at his Secretariat today.
The commendation certificates were distributed to the officials in appreciation of their roles in the overall efforts of implementation, monitoring and management of the Inner Line Permit System in the State.
The Inner Line Permit (ILP) System was extended to Manipur on December 11, 2019.
Manipur is the fourth State in the North East after Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Mizoram to implement the ILP system.
Inner Line Permit (ILP) is an official travel document issued by the State Government concerned to allow inward travel of an Indian citizen into a protected area for a limited period.
From January 1, 2024 to December 1, 2024, a total of 51,774 permits were issued at the ILP screening point at Mao.
