19 teams in fray for 17th Manipur State League title

IMPHAL, Jan 28 : As many as 19 teams clubbed into two groups will vie for the top honours of the 17th Manipur State League beginning on February 1 at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
The tournament will be formally opened with YOSC, Khurai, taking on Elite Football Academy, Kontha Ahallup at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong. The match starts at 1.30 pm.
Sagolmang Ground is the second venue that will be hosting this edition of the tournament.
The Group A comprises of ten teams- YOSC, Khurai; Rahee United Club, Kamjong; UPAA, Kyamgei; USA, Khurai; YPHU, Lalambung Makhong; TRAU, Kwakeithel; NESU, Khurai; Milan Football Academy, Keibi; MPSC, Manipur Police HQ and Elite Football Academy, Kontha Ahallup.
Meanwhile the Group B consists of 9 teams- FC Lamjao; Sang-gai Heroes, Angtha; UB FC, Ukhrul; NEROCA, Sangakpham; AFC, Athokpam; KLASA, Keinou; NACO, Nambul Mapal; SFC, Tera and SAI, Takyel.
