IMPHAL, Jan 25: The Koireng-led UNLF has claimed responsibility for eliminating one Hemam Johnson alias Mani s/o H Biren of Moirang Khoiru Maning Leikai but staying in a rented house at Moirang Ngangkha Lawai.
A press release issued by the outfit’s Secretary of Publicity M Shak-Hen said that Johnson alias Mani was  awarded capital punishment  for his bestial act of raping his own sister.
On receiving reports that Johnson alias Mani not only  had illicit relationship with one Priya from Thoubal district who is also of loose moral character but also impregnated his own sister, a special task force of the outfit investigated the outrageous reports.
Hemam Johnson alias Mani was pulled up from a location of Imphal one week back and he was subjected to a thorough questioning.
At first, Johnson alias Mani tried to cover up his bestial acts. However he did admit that he had physical relationship with Priya, a married woman but separated from her husband and was shifting from one rented room to another, and she underwent abortion three/four times.
Later, Johnson disclosed that he started having sexual relationship with his younger sister from 2019 onward and the sister got pregnant twice.
Priya was also aware of the highly reprehensible acts committed by Johnson alias Mani upon his own blood sister, the outfit said.
After minute deliberation on the bestial acts committed by Johnson alias Mani, the party awarded him capital punishment so as to show that such bestial acts will not be tolerated.
The outfit said that it has been undertaking a campaign of reprimanding and punishing all those people who violate women’s rights, dignity and modesty since 1990, and the campaign will go on.
The State’s economy has been severely affected by the sustained aggression launched by armed Kukis since May 3, 2023 and the society is becoming totally lawless. Moreover, social morality has fallen to the nadir, the outfit remarked.
It also appealed to all the people and organisations, particularly revolutionary organisations to support the outfit in its campaign to save the Nation.
It further appealed to all the parents and teachers to instill a strong sense of discipline, good manner and strict compliance with societal rules.
