Seven named for President's Medal

IMPHAL, Jan 25 : Altogether seven Manipur police officers and personnel have been awarded the President's Medal for Distinguished Service and  Medal for Meritorious Service ahead of the Republic Day celebration.
While Deputy SP of CID (SB) Sorokhaibam  Rudra-narayan Singh has been conferred the President's Medal for Distinguished Service, the remaining six police officers and personnel have been awarded the Medal for Meritorious Service.
The recipients of Medal for Meritorious Service are Inspector Laishram Chaoba Singh, Jemadar Naorem Seilendra Singh, Sub Inspector Sorokhaibam Santosh Singh, Jemadar Khaidem  Chandra Singh, Havildar Lenpu Kom, Rifleman Lamthianson Chongloi and Sub Inspector Athokpam Tej Singh.
