AKSDO, FORCE register impressive wins on day 1 of Women's U-15 One Day Trophy

IMPHAL, Jan 24: The first day of the 2nd MNCA Women's U-15 One Day Trophy saw AKSDO and FORCE securing impressive wins.
AKSDO Khangabok beat THAU Thangmeiband in the opening match by 1 wicket.
FORCE Kshetrigao had an easy win beating PTRC Patsoi by 10 wickets.
AKSDO vs THAU
At Mayaikoibi  PCC Ground, THAU Thangmeiband won the toss and batted first to amass a massive 229 for 6 wickets in 30 overs.
AKSDO scored 231 for 9 wickets in 28.5 overs to win the match.
In THAU's run for 229, Thoithoibi Ahongsangbam knocked an impressive 83 runs off 77 balls and Creety Moirangthem scored 69 runs off 44 balls.
Fancy Brajabashimayum (16/15), Robeni Usham (10/13), Konjengbam Nonibala Devi Chanu (8/10), Moirangthem Yaiphabi Devi (7/20) and Surangini Kangabam (1/5) contributed to THAU's 229 runs.
AKSDO's Alish Thokchom took 3 wickets. Laishram Linthoi Chanu, Bijiya Khundrakpam and Moirangthem Lucky Devi took one wicket each.
In reply, AKSDO's Alish Thokchom knocked an undefeated 79 runs off 52 balls and Bijiya Khundrakpam knocked 50 off 38 balls.
Langlen Ningthoujam scored 21 runs off 24 balls. Rabina Khundrakpam (11/6), Laishram Kalpana Devi (9/13), Laishram Linthoi Chanu (5/19), Laishram Anjaly Devi (4/5), Thokchom Langlen Chanu (1/9) and Henthoisana Takhellambam (1/7) contributed to AKSDO's victory.
THAU's Konjengbam Nonibala Devi took 3 wickets. Wangkhem Nganbi Chanu and Thoithoibi Ahongsangbam took 2 wickets. Rajkumari Velentina Devi took one wicket.
FORCE vs PTRC
At THAU Ground, FORCE Kshetrigao won the toss and opted to field first.
The chance to bat first proved fatal for PTRC as their players dropped like flies facing an impressive FORCE.
PTRC managed to score only 53 for 10 wickets in just 12 overs.
Ignited by their impressive fielding, FORCE knocked 54 without losing a single wicket in just 8 overs to win the match.
Facing FORCE, only PTRC's Laitonjam Linthoi Devi managed to score 2-digit runs--16 off 16 balls.
FORCE's Rahamatun took a massive 5 wickets and Wakila Shani took 4 wickets.
FORCE's undefeated openers Kh Ruksana (29/27) and Sangomsumpham Sadiya (13/21) finished the job in just 8 overs to win the match.
