Football : TAM FC, Karam FC play thrilling 2-2 draw

IMPHAL, Jan 21: TAM FC Sekta and Karam FC played a thrilling 2-2 draw in the 5th Chandranadi Trophy 2025 today.
In the match at Haoreibi Kangjeibung, L Umakanta Meitei scored the first goal for Karam FC in the 20th minute.
Karam FC managed to hold the 1-0 lead for quite some time, but Henary of TAM FC broke the defence and found the net for an equalizer in the 30th minute.
Ignited by the equalizer, Henary scored his second goal in the 40th minute for TAM FC to lead 2-1 over Karam FC.
The lead, however, did not last long as K Amarjit scored an equalizer for Karam FC in the 47th minute.
Both teams tried to break the tie until the end of the match without any success.
In a later match at the same ground, UA FC Urup Arapti beat ITFC Uchiwa Hayel 2-1.
N Kabiraj scored the first goal of the match for UA FC in the 15th minute. However, an own goal (Kh Binoy) in the 18th minute helped ITFC get an equalizer. I Indrajit scored the winning goal for UA FC in the 25+2 minute.
