IMPHAL, Jan 21: As in the previous years, CorCom has declared that it would boycott the Republic Day celebration this year too.
Apart from boycotting the Republic Day celebration, the CorCom has called a total shutdown from the midnight of January 25 till 6 pm of January 26.
It appealed to all the people to stay away from the Republic Day celebration, cease all activities and stay indoors during the total shutdown.
Nonetheless, religious functions, medical services and emergency services would be exempted from the total shutdown, the CorCom said in a press release issued by its Publicity Committee.
The laws and statutes of India enable the Government to subject the Opposition, media and social activists to legal harassment, it alleged.
The Government of India has the audacity to charge anyone with sedition if they dare to criticise or point out its lapses. Apart from facing economic recession, India is now suffering from ‘democratic recession’, the CorCom alleged.
Many democracy-watching organisations have remarked that the Government of India is a ‘hybrid regime’ which is not a full democracy but tends more towards autocracy.
Former Soviet Union leader Joseph Stalin’s statement “Those who vote decide nothing, those who count the vote decide everything” is completely true in the context of India, it said.
Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School (CIJWS) located in Mizoram teaches not only military tactics and warfare but also incorporates a major chapter on how to destroy the support base of insurgents by creating conflicts and divisions among different communities, it alleged.
Subversive policies aimed at suppressing and dominating a Nation by creating divisions within the Nation are taught comprehensively at CIJWS, it said.
Mizoram is also the cradle of the idea of exclusive ‘Greater Homelands’. This is because the Government of India has been using WESEA as their operational area and a convenient place for CIJWS’ apprenticeship.
Except for the Kuki groups under SoO, all other parties have been fighting for historically justified objectives, the CorCom said.
No insurgent party can write and publish histories at their whims and fancy. These parties are waging a ‘Just War’ against India based on facts and truths. That is why they are called National freedom fighters, it claimed.
On the other hand, the Government of India’s think-tank and security advisors firmly believe that they must use proxies to fight the people’s liberation movements through ‘false indoctrination’.
The paramilitary force, Assam Rifles was set up by colonialist British to project their geo-political interests and their operational objective is ‘divide and decimate’, the CorCom said.
This is evident in the alleged secret and open nexus between the Indian armed forces and ‘Kukinised terrorists’, it added.
It was the Indian intelligence agency, RAW’s conspiracy which separated Bangladesh from Pakistan and made Sikkim a part of India. Most of India’s internal and external policies are framed by its intelligence agencies, it said.
Even today, Indian intelligence agencies and military forces have been freely meddling in the internal affairs of Manipur (Kangleipak) and thus they are keeping Manipur as a militarised State, it continued.
While feigning ignorance of the causes of the liberation movements, the Government of India believes that they can suppress the people’s liberation movements by creating proxy-insurgency and ethnic-based gangs.
It means the liberation movement must take on both the Government of India and its proxies, the CorCom added.
