YVA Wangjing beat Sangaiyumpham FC

IMPHAL, Jan 20: YVA Wangjing beat Sangaiyumpham FC 2-0 in the opening match of the 3rd Division Football League Tournament 2024, organised by the DFA Thoubal today.
At Kodompokpi Sports Complex, YVA Wangjing had an easy and comfortable 2-0 lead over Sangaiyumpham FC.
H Birla scored the first goal for YVA Wangjing in the 37th minute before L Malem fortifying the lead with a second goal for the team in the 46th minute.
Sangaiyumpham FC tried their best to look for an opening but failed to find the net till the end of the match.
