IMPHAL, Jan 2 : The Critics Forum Manipur will be observing the year 2025 as 'Manipuri Dramagi 100 suba Chahi Kumon' as the centenary celebration of the 100th year of Manipuri drama.
In a release, Critics Forum Manipur informed that the first Manipuri language drama Narsingh (Awa Ngamba) was written by the late Lairenmayum Ibungohal Singh as advised by Sir Churachand Maharaj of Manipur and staged in the year 1925 in a grand scale at the royal palace under the patronage of His Highness.
