MNRF extends New Year greetings

IMPHAL, Jan 2 : On the auspicious occasion of New Year 2025, the Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF) has conveyed its warm greetings, goodwill and wishes to the Nagas of Manipur in particular and people of the State in general, who have eagerly awaited the arrival of a new year with merry-making, singing, meditation, prayer and devotional services in various Churches.
In a release, the MNRF reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to safeguarding the political rights of the Manipur Nagas and securing their liberty & rightful future.
The MNRF appealed to all Nagas of Manipur to awaken, unite, and contribute collectively towards building a stronger and united future for "our" people.
"The year 2024 was the most troubled year for the people of Manipur full of killings, bandhs, curfew, economic blockades and gun battles. Amid escalating conflicts and violence in Manipur, the year 2025 has finally come with full of confidence, hope and optimism for the violence-ridden folks of the State", it added.
"May the New Year usher in blessing, health, happiness, compassion, peace, prosperity, communal harmony, understanding and wisdom, so that a new Manipur emerges free from conflict, hatred, enmity and violence", said MNRF.
