Sensitization programme held

IMPHAL, Jan 2 : An awareness and sensitization programme on "Vermicomposting" was held at Imoinu Shanglen in Luwangsangbam Mayai Leikai, Imphal East today.
The programme was jointly organised by College of Agriculture, Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal and Digital India Corporation under the sponsorship of Ministry of Information & Information Technology, Government of India.
During the event, Dr Punabati Heisnam, Assistant Professor (Agronomy), College of Agriculture, CAU, Imphal enlightened the gathering about the benefits of vermicomposting and producing organic foods.
