World Pro Langthabal, YSC confirm quarterfinal berth in 5th Chandranadi Trophy

IMPHAL, Jan 19 : World Pro Langthabal and YSC, Naorem Chaprou confirmed their quarterfinal tickets in the ongoing 5th Chandranadi Trophy 2025.
World Pro Langthabal played out a goalless draw with LSIC, Lamlai in the 14th match of the tournament and second Group F match to seal the last-8 round berth today.
Having beaten Narankonjil FC 2-0, World Pro Langthabal only needed a point, which they eventually got following today's draw, to qualify for the quarterfinal.
Later in the day, YSC, Naorem Chaprou romped past Nganthoi FC, Karam to go on top of the Group G table with 3 points as Nganthoi FC and Meijrao FC had earlier played out a 0-0 draw.
Lanchenba (6'), Ronaldo (11') and L Thomas (19') all scored a goal apiece in the first half to hand YSC a 3-0 lead before A Ningthouba netted the decisive goal in the 38th minute.
