Veteran Football : FLAK stroll into semis with 5-0 rout of FLAM

IMPHAL, Jan 18 : FLAK romped past FLAM by 5-0 goals in the third quarterfinal match of the ongoing 4th Dr M Moirangthem Manaoton Singh and M Chandrasakhi Devi Memorial Masters Football Championship.
FLAK thoroughly dominated the game and went ahead after 11 minutes off an own goal conceded by FLAM's N Doren before Wilson Tangkhul doubled the advantage three minutes later.
After leading the first half 2-0, FLAK kept searching for more goals and it was N Gandhi who made it 3-0 after 36 minute. Despite enjoying the comfortable 3-0 lead, FLAK were relentless and piled more pressure against FLAM with Th Baleshwor netting the team's fourth in the 57th minute before N Gandhi took it deep into the stoppage time to complete his double (60+2') and 5-0 rout.
 EMVFC will play UVSA in the last quarterfinal match tomorrow.
