State U-14 and U-17 teams head to Patna for NSG Cycling

IMPHAL, Jan 15 : The Directorate of Youth Affairs and Sports Department today flagged off State U-14 and U-17 teams for the 68th National School Games Cycling to be hosted by Bihar in Patna from January 17 to 24 (both track and road events).
The riders who will be representing Manipur in the said event are as follows.
Track event (to be held from January 17 to 20)
U-14 Boys : Chungkham Mangalmission, Narengbam Maxson, Chungkham Hema and Thoudam Poireinganba;
U-14 Girls : Naorem Alice Devi, Victoria Huirem, Henam Belina Devi;
U-17 Boys : Heikrujam Lamjingbam, Yumnam Sushil, Lorish Laiphrakpam and Belchrish Khoirom;
U-17 Girls : Usham Sandhya Devi, Saikhom Florence, Thoudam Abenao Chanu and Khongbantabam Linthoinganbi.
Road Event (to be held from January 22 to 24)
U-14 Boys : Wahengbam Thoihenba, Yanglem Jingku, Poireinganba Chanambam and Lisham Dhanachandra;
U-14 Girls : Victoriya Huirem, Naorem Alice and Henam Belina;
U-17 Boys : Laishram Prem, Ngangkham Dayananda, Lairenmayum Rishi and Longjam Aditya;
U-17 Girls : Usham Sandhya Devi, Thaodem Khristina, Thoudam Abenao Chanu and Saikhom Florence Devi.
The team were led by four officials including Heikham Padamani and Konsam Suchitra as U-14 team manager and coach and Konthoujam Premabati Devi and Mutum Ibomcha Singh as U-17 team manager and coach.
