Pherzawl: District level training for SMC members held

PHERZAWL, Jan 15 (DIO): District Level Training for School Management Committee (SMC) members was conducted today at Synod Hall, IB Road.
The event was organised by the Zonal Education Office/ District Project Office (DPO), Samagra Shiksha, Pherzawl under Samagra Shiksha (Elementary), Manipur.
The training aimed to equip SMC members with knowledge and skills required to enhance the overall functioning of schools.
Around 60 participants comprising Headmasters/Headmistresses along with two teachers from each school across the district attended the training.
During the training programme the resource persons, Golden Laltanthang and Kimneihat, covered various topics on school management including the composition and core functions of SMCs, emphasizing strategies for efficient school operations.
