IMPHAL, Jan 14 : Stating that the buzz doing the round of a non-confidence motion to be moved against the Government is baseless, Chief Minister N Biren Singh has asserted that he will never let Manipur be disintegrated even if he is to be beheaded.
He made the statement during a Samvidhan Gourav Abhiyan held under the theme "Our Constitution, Our Pride" at the BJP office at Nityaipat Chuthek today.
At the function, the Chief Minister asserted that breaking Manipur won't be possible as long as he is alive.

He also said that it is the BJP which has been safeguarding Manipur and people who genuinely love the place have faith in the saffron party.
Claiming that Manipur may already have been bifurcated had the BJP not been at the helm, he appealed to the people to acknowledge what Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah had done for Manipur and make BJP stronger.
People know which political party wants to break Manipur into three parts, N Biren said.
Speak out the truth but people must understand that Freedom of Expression has its limits and comes under reasonable restrictions, the Chief Minister said.
Hitting out at the Congress, the Chief Minister said that it seems like Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi doesn't understand the meaning of being a Parliamentarian.
How good can the party be whose leader addressed fellow MPs wearing a T-shirt, he said referring to Rahul Gandhi.
The Chief Minister further said that the Congress party hasn't issued any clarification for the controversial remark given by P Chidambaram on 'bifurcating' Manipur into three parts to resolve the crisis besetting the State.
People of Manipur, however, gave its mandate to the Congress party in the 18th Lok Sabha elections, the Chief Minister regretted and asked what have the two Members of Parliamentarian from Manipur done so far.
Both the MPs haven't raised anything in support of fencing the Indo-Myanmar border, withdrawal of the Free Movement Regime (FMR) and identification of illegal immigrants during Parliament sessions, N Biren said.
People voted for the Congress party so that they could raise the issues of Manipur on the floor of the Parliament, the Chief Minister added.
He said that a party which speaks in double tongue won't work in Manipur.
Saying that the Government detected 27 Myanmar Nationals in Manipur recently of which 25 have been repatriated, N Biren maintained that the remaining two foreigners are Rohingyas and they are being kept at the observation centre.
The Congress party doesn't know the demographic imbalance happening in Manipur, he said.
The Chief Minister continued that BJP is the only party which advocates peaceful coexistence among all communities right from the grassroots level.
The Central Government enforced the Inner Line Permit System (ILPS) in Manipur to protect the indigenous communities, he said.
He went on to state that Manipur has the maximum number of Army officers per capita in the country and people should take pride in it.
People should not elect any person who won't carry forward their voice as their leader, the Chief Minister said.
