Mukhai FC vs NESU in Dabang Trophy title clash

IMPHAL, Jan 14 : Mukhai FC overcame Saruk FC in a five goal thriller to set up 2nd Dabang Trophy Final date with NESU, Sangaiyumpham.
In the second semi-final match of the tournament hosted by ASSA, Sangaiyumpham, Mukhai FC fought from a goal down in the first half to seal the thrilling 3-2 win against spirited Saruk FC.
Saruk FC had a positive start and led the first half 1-0 with Irshad finding the opener in the 15th minute. Rohit of Mukhai FC however drew level in the 38th minute before his compatriot Premjit overturned the lead in the 41st minute. Rohit scored once again in the 52nd minute to give Mukhai FC two goal advantage but Saruk FC rallied back and pulled back a goal the very next minute through Mustoffa. Mukhai FC however stepped up their defence to thwart further danger from the relentless Saruk FC and saw out the game 3-2.
They will play NESU, Sangaiyumpham, who outlasted MFCC, Wangjing by 3-1 goals yesterday, in the title clash.
