Manipur win 5 gold, 2 bronze at Aerobic Gymnastics Nationals

IMPHAL, Jan 14 : Manipur finished the All Age Group Aerobic Gymnastics National Championships 2024-25 hosted by Jammu and Kashmir under the aegis of Gymnastics Federation of India with a rich haul of 5 gold and 2 bronze medals.
In the championship that was held from January 10 to 13, Ariha Pangambam and Okram Umajit won gold medals in senior individual events as Mutum Romesh won another gold medal for Manipur in the junior men's individual event.
Following their stellar performances, Manipur's Ariha Pangambam and Mutum Romesh have been shortlisted to represent India at the Suzuki World Cup 2025 by the Gymnastics Federation of India.
Mutum Romesh also won another gold medal in the junior trio event along with Anjori Pangambam and RK Thoithoilembi  before securing third gold medal with RK Thoithoilembi in the junior mixed pair event.
Anjori Pangambam also won a bronze medal in the junior women's individual competition as the senior trio of Ariha Pangambam, Huirem Jesika and Okram Umajit settled for the other bronze medal. The team were led by coach Pangambam Akhelo and manager Thokchom Pingky.
