NESU reach 2nd Dabang Trophy final

IMPHAL, Jan 13 : NESU, Sangaiyumpham beat MFCC, Wangjing 3-1 to enter the final of the 2nd Dabang Trophy 9-A-Side State Level Open Football Tournament organised by ASSA, Sangaiyumpham at its playground.
Eyeing the final berth, the two sides started cautiously and cancelled out one another until MFCC found the breakthrough in the 28th minute when Meiraba converted a fine chance.
After trailing the first half by a solitary goal, NESU put in more effort and came to level term with Basanta scoring the equaliser in the 33rd minute before Md Aman Khan (42') and Md Akbar (60') scored to turn things around and seal the victory.
