Relay hunger strike completes 59 days

IMPHAL, Jan 13: The relay hunger strike launched by Uripok Apunba Lup (UAL) and Uripok Nupi Apunba Lup completed 59 days today. Meira Paibis of Uripok Sinam Leikai participated in the relay hunger strike in the morning, Langol Laimanai Awang Makha in the afternoon and Langol Ningthou Club at night.
It may be noted that the relay hunger strike was launched seeking justice for the tragic Jiribam killings.
