AMBBA flags off State team for 12th Senior Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2024

IMPHAL, Jan 12 : The All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) today flagged off a 15-member State team who will be taking part in the 16th Senior Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championship 2025 to be held from January 14 to 16 at Belagavi, Karnataka.
The players and officials were formally flagged off by association functionaries from the Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal.
Notably Kh Amir Huesain (55 kg) of Wild Gym, Hatta; Laishram Naresh Singh (60 kg) of Perfect Fitness Gym, Ningthoukhong; Laishram Neta Singh (60 kg) of UGM, Naoremthong; Haobijam Norjit Meitei (65 kg) of UGM, Bishnupur; Bachaspatimayum Bipin Sharma (70 kg) of AMBBA; Laiphrakpam Bankimchandra Singh (75 kg) of AMBBA; Wangkheirakpam Priyobarta Singh (85 kg) of Liangtuang Kamei Foundation, Neikalong, Thangmeiband; Hillari Pamei (85 kg) X-Treme Fitness, Mantripukhri; Rajkumar Mojesh Singh (90 kg) of Sangai Gym, Khagempalli; Melson Nongmeikapam (above 90 kg) Royal Gym, Ningomthong will be competing in men's bodybuilding competition at the championship.
Thokchom Sanjeeta of World Gym, Yaiskul is the only woman bodybuilding contestant in the team while Ambika Thoudam of AM/PM Gym, Bishnupur will be competing in the women model physique event.
The team are led by N Ratan as manager, RK Manisana as men's team coach and Janshi Maisnam as women's team coach.
