Sepaktakraw Nationals Men, women roll on with successive league stage wins in regu event

IMPHAL, Jan 12 : Both State men and women registered successive wins in the league stage competition of the ongoing 34th Senior National Sepaktakraw Championship's Regu event.
In the women's competition (Group B), Manipur got a walkover against Uttarakhan before defeating Goa in straight sets (15-12, 15-5) for the second straight victory.
Meanwhile, in the men's competition, Manipur defeated the All India Police team 15-11, 17-15 to open their Group D league account. Manipur then eased past Gujarat 15-4, 15-4 for the second straight victory before beating Nagaland with a comeback 15-5, 14-17, 15-3 win in the third match.
