PK Singh repatriated

IMPHAL, Jan 11 : The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has approved repatriation of Prashant Kumar Singh (MN:93), Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to his parent cadre on the request of the Government of Manipur.
An order to this effect was issued by Director of Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) Sakshi Mittal today.
As such, Prashant Kumar Singh is most likely to be appointed as the next Chief Secretary of Manipur, sources said.
Earlier it was reported that the Government was considering the repatriation of any of the three senior IAS officers Prashant Kumar Singh (IAS: 1993: MN), Rajesh Agarwal (IAS: 1994: MN) and Vivek Kumar Dewangan (IAS: 1993: MN) for the post of Chief Secretary.
