ESA, THAU register wins in IW 2nd Division Football League

IMPHAL, Jan 11 : ESA, Mayang Imphal ended their three game losing streak with a 2-0 win over SOYO, Sanjenbam as THAU pulled off their third win in four matches of the ongoing 12th Second Division Football League 2024-25 organised by IWDFA with a 1-0 win.
ESA scored their first win in four matches with Shaad handed them a 1-0 first half lead with an added time goal (40+1') before Simson scored the decisive goal in the 61st minute.
Later in the 12th match of the tournament, THAU who opened their campaign on a losing note, secured their third straight victory by defeating MTSU, Malom 1-0. The lone goal that settled the game was scored by Aboton in the 9th minute.
