Prof Irabanta gets Bharat Shiksa Gaurav Puraskar

IMPHAL, Jan 10 : Prof N Irabanta Singh, retired Professor, Life Sciences, Manipur University, and chairman, Nibiaa Group of Companies, has been conferred the Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar, 2024 by KTK Outstanding Achievers and Education Foundation, Delhi.
The award was presented to Prof N Irabanta in recognition of his remarkable contributions in Plant Pathology (Aerobiology) and Agriculture (Green manure application for the rice cropping system), said a release. Earlier, Prof Irabanta was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Aerobiological Society, Kolkata, in 2010 for his contributions to Indian Aerobiology from Northeast India. The award ceremony was held virtually in Delhi on December 22, 2024 at the office premises of the KTK Foundation.
The staff of Nibiaa Group of Companies expressed their joy in their chairman's achievement.
