GFC, IMA FA post convincing wins in IW 3rd Divn Football League

IMPHAL, Jan 10 : GFC, Kanglatongbi and IMA FA, Wangoi secured convincing victories in the ongoing 6th Sh Mani Sharma Memorial 3rd Division Football League 2024-25 at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi today.
In the 8th Group A match, GFC opened their Group B account after two opening game losses by defeating UYPA, Kha Jiri by 4-0 goals today. GFC opened the scoring with Arun Bosnet converting a penalty in the 4th minute before Rocky of UYPA conceded an own goal to double the advantage. Borish further extended the lead in the 46th minute before Rohit Bista rounded off the scoring in the 55th minute.
Meanwhile in the 8th Group a match, IMA FA returned to  winning ways as they beat KYDC, Kiyam by 3-0 goals on the back of a double from W Rohit (40', 80+1') after Martin Thangjam opened the scoring in the 31st minute.
