Stationery items, snacks distributed at relief camp

JIRIBAM, Sep 6: In continuation of his efforts to extend assistance to the inmates in relief camps across Jiribam district, Jiribam police station OC Sagapam Ibotombi Singh distributed snacks and stationery items to the students sheltering at Jiribam Higher Secondary School auditorium hall yesterday.
Expressing gratitude to the Jiribam PS OC for his generous act, one Ahanthem Memcha, an inmate at the camp, told media persons that the OC distributed water bottles, lamps, compasses, notebooks, pencils and snacks to the children. Wishing him a long life, she expressed hope for continued assistance.
It is worth noting that Sagapam Ibotombi Singh was born in Ningthembam in Jiribam. He recently donated a year's salary to help the displaced people from Jiribam.
