Standard College fetes bodybuilders

IMPHAL, Sep 4 : Standard College, Kongba yesterday felicitated bodybuilders Thokchom Yaisana and Karam Ramashwamy who recently clinched Jr Mr Asia and and Jr Mr India titles recently  in a function held at the conference hall of the college.
The felicitation programme was graced by the Principal of the college Dr L Basanti, Dr L Ibetombi, HOD, Physical Education Department and Dr N Chandrashekhar, HOD, Geography Department as presidium members among others.
Notably, Th Yaisana, who competed in the junior men's 75 kg category, won the continental title last month at the 56th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Championships 2024 held in Batam Island, Indonesia. Both the athletes were encouraged with simple presents, said a statement issued by the college.
