SDC, SFC victorious in IW Super Division Football League

IMPHAL, Sep 30 : Social Development Club (SDC), Samurou and Sainik Football Club (SFC), Tera Khuraijam Leikai pulled off victories in today's matches of the 24th Super Division Football League 2024-25 being organised by the Imphal West District Football Association at PAMYAL, Patsoi ground.
In the fourth match of the tournament, SDC rode on Rakhesh's brace to beat CHIKL, Lilong Chajing 2-1 this afternoon for the second win courtesy of a brace from Rakhesh (16', 74'). Indrajit (89') scored the consolation goal for CHIK.
Notably, SDC were declared 3-0 winners by IWDFA in reverse to their 3-5 loss to SFC in the opening match as a disciplinary action for fielding ineligible players by SFC.
Later in the day, SFC defeated IFC, Lamphel by 2-0 goals courtesy of first half goals from Saranso (24') and S Nobel (40').
