IMPHAL, Sep 28 : HKKSA, Haokha Kiyam earned a walkover win against DUC, Charangpat as WYFC, Wangjing and PATHAP FC, Lilong posted similar wins in today's matches of the ongoing L Memcha Devi Memorial Super Division Football League 2024 at Kodompokpi Sports Complex.
The 23rd match of the tournament was supposed to be played between HKKSA and DUC but DUC did not turn up for the match and eventually HKKSA were declared the winners.
Later in the 24th match, Dingkal scored twice to earn WYFC a 3-1 win over SYDA, Athokpam.
WYFA started confidently and were ahead by 2-0 goals courtesy of a brace from Dingkal (5', 8') within 8 minutes of the game before Devabrata made it 3-0 after 45 minutes. Sh Ronelson scored the consolation goal for SYDA in the 59th minute of the match.
In the 25th match of the tournament, Bangkakumar's double for Yairipok FC went in vain as PATHAP FC staged a late comeback to register a 4-2 win.
Yairipok FC eased to a 2-1 first half lead thanks to a brace from Bangkakumar (20', 45+2') after Manjuralam opened the scoring in the 9th minute for PATHAP FC.
After the restart, PATHAP FC fought back valiantly and rode on Ashok Kumar's penalty in the 72nd minute to come to level terms before P Golmei overturned the lead in the 82nd minute. Md Arish Khan then hit the decisive goal six minutes into the stoppage time to make sure PATHAP FC walk away 4-2 winners.
 The closing match of the tournament is scheduled on September 30 from 2.30 pm at the same venue.
