BSF DG visits State

IMPHAL, Sep 28: BSF Director General Daljit Singh Chawdhary landed here today and reviewed the operational preparedness of BSF in the wake of recent escalation of violence in the State.
The DG BSF was recei-ved by ADG BSF (Eastern Command) Rajiv Gandhi and IG M&C Frontier San-jay Kumar Misra at Imphal airport at around 11.30 am.
The DG then went to Moreh and reviewed the operational preparedness of BSF and interacted with the commanders and troops deployed there and appreciated the role of BSF personnel.
Daljit Singh Chawdhary  also visited ICP Moreh.
He also discussed the prevailing security scenario with the DGP and the Chief Secretary of Manipur and senior officers of other sister agencies.
